VMT IS

The core of many VMT system solutions is the in-house developed software platform VMT IS.

VMT IS is a highly flexible software that is now primarily used in the life science sector and for classical inspection tasks. The platform includes a very large number of VMT proprietary algorithms and can simultaneously leverage common state-of-the-art libraries.

This includes not only traditional methods but also AI methods, including deep learning networks, smaller neural networks, and support vector machines, which can be trained with models of the inspection features. This enables the system to recognize arbitrary features - depending on the task at hand.

By adding further external appearance variations, the system attains the highest possible level of detection certainty. Thus unstable environmental conditions and varying image backgrounds can be easily handled by means of simple optimisation.

A fast and simple set-up, intuitive operating possibilities and the comprehensive recording of the system are among the features of the powerful vision system software.

Depending on the type of assignment, the basic software can be extended by special functions and evaluation algorithms.

Due to these software structures, VMT solutions offer simple combination options to enable the combination of even very varied inspection tasks in a single system. Even the later extension of existing VMT systems is thus guaranteed.

The system solution VMT IS ensures compliant operation according to 21 CFR Part 11 (FDA standard) and is also used in the pharmaceutical and food industries.
