Deep Learning
VMT™ Deep Learning is a proven, optimized, and stable inspection technology.
It is increasingly being implemented in industrial image processing, often as an extension and complement to standard image processing solutions. With this technology, a neural network learns to reliably recognize irregularities based on countless reference images. The combination of Artificial Intelligence with VMT™'s developed and constantly expanding VMT™ IS software offers a variety of new image processing solutions that were previously only solvable with classical image processing approaches, either very complex or with high and time-consuming effort.
Typical use cases include the detection of cosmetic defects and irregularities. This has great potential, especially for Life Science products.
VMT™ has already successfully implemented Deep Learning in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently, VMT™ is working on solutions in vaccine development and evaluation.
