Deep Learning

VMT Deep Learning is a proven, optimized, and stable inspection technology.

It is increasingly being implemented in industrial image processing, often as an extension and complement to standard image processing solutions. With this technology, a neural network learns to reliably recognize irregularities based on countless reference images. The combination of Artificial Intelligence with VMT's developed and constantly expanding VMT IS software offers a variety of new image processing solutions that were previously only solvable with classical image processing approaches, either very complex or with high and time-consuming effort.

Typical use cases include the detection of cosmetic defects and irregularities. This has great potential, especially for Life Science products.

VMT has already successfully implemented Deep Learning in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently, VMT is working on solutions in vaccine development and evaluation. Optimized solutions facilitate evaluation in research and laboratory automation. Thus, VMT, together with its partners, invests in future-oriented processes that optimize and accelerate procedures worldwide, some of which are life-saving. These procedures are, of course, implemented and documented in accordance with the demanding legal regulations and requirements of the Pharma/Medical industry.
