2-D inspection
VMT can also handle task assignments for component and module checks, plain text and code reading, type recognition and geometry checks in any desired combination. Suitable cameras and/or laser sensor technologies are used in combination in solution-oriented manner. 3D inspection
"The use of 3-D sensors which provide spatially coded object information on a scene opens up totally new application areas in the field of inspection and quality assurance. The numerous possibilities that are offered by 3-D inspection systems, such as CAD-based target/actual comparisons, which are also possible for large objects and components with highly varied surface properties, round off the application of the most varied 3-D sensor systems. Simple integration into the VMT inspection system enables comfortable and task-oriented solutions to be quickly established for the relevant process in an optimal design. Additional important features, such as statistics, process documentation with test images, visualization tools, password levels or language switching can already be implemented in the VMT standard system.
VMT user software
The heart of every VMT systems solution is the image processing software which has been developed in-house. It doesn’t matter whether the image information is provided by cameras or 3-D sensors. Online protocols and statistics provide the user with relevant process data. Testing results and images can be archived in a wide variety of formats, depending on an identification number. More complex tasks can also be implemented thanks to intuitive handling and clear presentation, which is available in all common national languages. Trained users can expand the systems almost any way they want: with additional sensors, variants and component types, or, if desired or needed, also by our specialists and service teams.
